DYNAMIC COMPONENTS develops and sells hardware and software for retrofitting elevators and escalators with sensors in order to monitor their health status. Benefit are reduced downtimes, improved service quality and lower maintenance costs. Dynamic Components helps its customers to gain new insights into their equipment. Through digitalization of machines and equipment, data from various sources are collected, harmonized and correlated. This opens up new business models, such as use-based billing of the equipment.
The management team of Dynamic Components has a well-founded technical background combined with commercial expertise and consists of two computer scientists, one engineer and one business economist. In 2014, the team started working together at fortiss, associate research institute of Technical University of Munich, on a project which would become Dynamic Components GmbH in 2016.

Dr. Michael Geisinger - Managing Director (Chief Operating Officer)
Dr. Michael Geisinger received his doctorate from Technical University of Munich (TUM) for his work on software synthesis for industrial automation systems. In 2010, he switched to the fortiss research institute, where he led a team of four developers which worked for five years on the technology which ZIFA is based on. He is experienced in the areas of embedded systems, real-time systems, industrial automation systems and middleware architectures. As managing director and COO, he is responsible for the technical architecture, roadmap, quality assurance, as well as technical aspects of sales and product management.
André Leimbrock - Managing Director (Chief Executive Officer)
André Leimbrock has been working in sales as a bank clerk (Bankkaufmann IHK) and has studied Business Administration at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (Dipl.-Kfm.) with specialization in Strategic and Technology Management. He worked in the strategy department of a DAX-30 company and for three years as a management consultant with Accenture where he advised clients on processes and execution of their digital sales and marketing strategy. He joined fortiss GmbH in 2014 as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence. As managing director and CEO, he is responsible for executing on DC’s product vision with company building, business development, sales, marketing and finance.
Dr. Hauke Stähle - Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Hauke Stähle worked as research assistant at Technical University of Munich (TUM) and fortiss GmbH after studying Information and Communication Technology (with focus on embedded systems) at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Dipl.-Ing.). In 2016 he finished his dissertation about the combination of real-time guarantees with plug-and-play capabilities in heterogeneous distributed embedded systems. As CTO and with his long-time experience in the aforementioned areas, he is concerned with support of large data sets, system integration, data analytics, as well as porting ZIFA to various platforms.
Benjamin Wiesmüller - Director Software Development
Benjamin Wiesmüller, M.Sc. studied Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). In his final thesis he worked on model-based development and code generation. The next five years he worked on the base technology of ZIFA at the fortiss research institute. Since then he is the lead software developer at Dynamic Components. To his main tasks count the integration of various cloud platforms, edge device software development, as well as web development.
