Together with LEG Wohnen NRW GmbH and Unitymedia, Dynamic Components is going to run a pilot project as reward for being chosen in second place for the “Smart WoWi Award”, which was presented at the “Anga Com” broadband trade fair. The award, founded by housing company LEG and cable network operator Unitymedia as technology partner for the housing industry, distinguishes smart project ideas for the housing industry (WoWi) of the future.
Using Dynamic Components’ Internet of Things (IoT) solution for elevators, the partners can use condition monitoring and predictive maintenance to increase equipment uptime and reduce maintenance costs. The aim of the project is to achieve complete transparency about the condition of the equipment at LEG.
Dynamic Components is looking forward to the collaboration.
On 15 and 16 May 2018 we participated via the TechBoost program at the Deutsche Telekom IT in-house exhibition and the so-called Digital South under the motto “Digitalisierung.Einfach.Machen.” in the Allianz Arena. The opportunity was to present Dynamic Components’ solutions around condition monitoring and predictive maintenance for elevators to Telekom customers.
Interesting discussions with medium-sized companies, a keynote by Dr. Wladimir Klitschko and the participation of our MD André in a startup talk on digitization of German SMEs were highlights of this event.

From the 23rd to the 27th of April 2018, Hannover Messe Industrie 2018 took place in Hanover, Germany and Dynamic Components was represented with a booth at the shared exhibition booth of “Bayern Innovativ” in hall 17.
Among the highlights, in addition to the opening with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, were the Bavarian-Mexican Weißwurst breakfast on Tuesday and the “Bayerntag” on Wednesday hosted by Franz Josef Pschierer, Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology.
In addition, we participated in an industry dialogue with Bavarian SMEs and industry associations on Wednesday and were able to discuss current topics with our host Franz Josef Pschierer. Afterwards he came to our booth and we demonstrated our solution for condition-based maintenance of elevators and showed our installations in Munich.

In addition to the official visits, we were able to welcome a number of potential customers from the elevator industry at our booth, exchange views with new and old contacts from our partners and watch the latest technological developments at the show.

Our managing director André Leimbrock had the honor to participate in a panel discussion on “Germany and digitization – a Mittelstand perspective” as part of the Deutschland 4.0 congress hosted by CDU/CSU-Bundestagsfraktion at Deutscher Bundestag yesterday. Among participants were entrepreneur Andy Bechtolsheim, chancelor Angela Merkel, Alexander Dobrindt and executives from Viessmann, Google, thyssenkrupp, Disney Research and Weidmüller Deutschland. Discussions revolved around startups, digitization, employment and the support we received from Technische Universität München Gründungsberatung and UnternehmerTUM in starting our company. Munich, June 12, 2017. One of the most read newspapers in Germany, Süddeutsche Zeitung, interviewed our managing director Michael. He talked about our participation in UnternehmerTUMs incubation program Xpreneurs, investor-readiness and the sensational office space in the Highlight Towers at IBM IoT Watson.

UnternehmerTUM is the entrepreneurial network and entrepreneurial coaching facility of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Hannover, March 24, 2017. Similarly to last year, Dynamic Components was co-exhibitor at the booth of German railway operator Deutschen Bahn (DB) at CeBIT in Hannover. This year, the motto of the joint appearance was “DB Digital”. In this context, Dynamic Components showed how elevators and escalators can be digitized in order to reduce the number and duration of outages of these machines in the future. This way, all passengers can benefit from digitization.
Leonberg, 17.02.2017. Dynamic Components has taken part in a 2-day Hackathon which has been very successful: „For us the hackathon was an excellent chance to put our technology into practice and meet a potential customer“, says Dr. Michael Geisinger.

Munich, July 6 2016. After successfully finishing the Deutsche Bahn (DB) Accelerator program in the first quarter of the year, Dynamic Components is cooperating with Deutsche Bahn in two pilot projects. The fact that predictive maintenance is an important topic for DB is apparent on their website: a video featuring Dynamic Components is shown right on the start page.
Krakow, May 11, 2016. Dynamic Components was accepted for the challengeUp! IoT Accelerator program by Intel, Cisco and Deutschen Telekom. A total of twelve startups passed an extensive selection process and are now being supported in the marketing, acquisition and development processes by the three initiators of the program.
Berlin, 21. April 2016. After three months of intensive collaboration and coaching in the accelerator program of Deutsche Bahn during which our product SensorLink has been developed, we were able to successfully demonstrate our results at the demo day to experts of Deutsche Bahn and the startup scene.

Munich, 18. February 2016. The IdeAward of the Technischen Universität München (TUM) is a yearly competition. Its goal is to identify and support technology-driven research results of TUM researchers and alumni which have the potential for successful products. This year the CHROMOSOME-Technology of Dynamic Components with its Plug & Play capabilities for industrial automation reached the third place.
Munich, 15. February 2016. Up to now “CHROMOSOME Industrial” has been the project title of an “EXIST-Forschungstransfer” of the fortiss institute with the goal of transferring the Plug & Play concepts developed there into industrial automation. The founding of the company Dynamic Components GmbH is an important milestone towards commercialization of the CHROMOSOME-Technology.
Berlin, 26. November 2015. CHROMOSOME Industrial has been selected as one of four teams for the accelerator of the Deutsche Bahn. Through this the founder team gains the possibility to work intensively with DB for three months to demonstrate the benefit of CHROMOSOME Industrial in railway infrastructure.
Munich, 3. August 2015. CHROMOSOME Industrial was able to secure funding through the grant “EXIST-Forschungstransfer“. Start of the grant is the 1. August 2015. The project covers personal and material costs and runs from August 2015 to January 2017. Therefore the founder team has ideal conditions for bringing their integration solution CHROMOSOME Industrial into a market-ready state.
Hannover, 16. March 2015. The idea behind CHROMOSOME Industrial was awarded a main prize today in the founder competition “IKT Innovativ” of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The prize was handed over at CeBIT by the Parliamentary State Secretary Brigitte Zypries.
